YouTuber Jeffree Star Mocks the Catholic Faith in Blasphemous Cosmetic Line "Pink Religion"
Lord have mercy! This is horribly blasphemous!
YouTuber and businessman Jeffree Star’s latest cosmetic product line “Pink Religion” mocks the Catholic Church in its product descriptions and depictions, photos, and video ads.
In his ads, the 35 year-old make-up artist poses as as the pope in pink hair, make-up, and blasphemous clergy attire.
The promotional video uses religious background music, statues of Our Lady and the angels, and a woman kneeling and “praying” the rosary. All actors dress immodestly or in vulgar clothing and make-up, using props to blaspheme faith, Our Lady, and Our Lord.
Star also refers to his “pink religion” eyeshadow palette as a “bible.”

The make-up line also mocks multiple Christian and Catholic symbols, including Catholic holy water, the Last Supper, and Jesus’ Sacred Heart. Lipstick titles include “communion wine,” “confessional,” and “pink messiah,” to name a few.
