When does Christmas actually end? It’s not on Dec. 26!

On this week’s episode of The Catholic Talk Show, Ryan Scheel, Fr. Rich Pagano, and Ryan DellaCross discuss “5 Things You Didn’t Know About Christmas & The Birth of Christ.”

In the clip below, Ryan Scheel explains when Christmas ends–and it’s not on Dec. 26! He explains the few different ways Christmas traditionally ends.

The 12 days of Christmas actually ends on Epiphany. However, according to the USCCB, Christmas ends on the feast of the Baptism of Jesus.

According to the Old Calendar, however, Christmas ends on Candlemas (Feb. 2)–the feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple.
