Over the past several years, Hollywood celebrities have used their platform to desecrate and blaspheme God.
Demi Lovato, Beyoncé, Madonna, Sam Smith, and many other celebrities capitalize on mocking Our Lord, Our Lady, and Christianity in general.
Rapper Lil Nas X released his latest single, "J Christ" on Jan. 12. The video and song blaspheme Jesus, the Bible, the Rosary, and Catholicism. He depicts himself as a provocatively dressed Jesus, holds a rosary, and crucifies himself in a reenactment of the crucifixion.
The song generated intense backlash from Christians.
However, this is not the first time the rapper mocked Christianity. In 2021, ChurchPOP reported on Lil Nas X's "Satan Shoes" stitched with "Luke 10:18" and a pentagram. They also contained one drop of human blood.
In an exclusive video for ChurchPOP, Father Dan Reehil of the Diocese of Nashville responds to Lil Nas X's actions, along with the pattern of blasphemy in Hollywood.
"Why do celebrities continually choose to attack Christianity in their work and art?" Father Reehil begins.
"But do they actually know what they're doing? For some I think they do, for others, I believe they're just completely ignorant that blaspheming God is so offensive to Him."
Father Reehil then says we must pray for their conversion and referenced Jesus' words on the cross: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
However, Father Reehil says these artists present this mockery under the guise of "freedom of expression."
"We do have freedom– freedom to choose good or evil. Remember what the Lord told Moses and the Jews?
"'I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today. I place before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life, so you and your children will live and love God, your God, listening obediently to him and firmly embracing him.'" Father Reehil quotes.
"But in the end, we can choose death all in the name of freedom of expression, and when we do this, we choose hell. Hell is a choice," the exorcist continues.
"To live away from God, to mock God, to spit in his face, and boldly and intentionally reject him is to choose hell," he warns.
"And if you choose hell and evil in this life, you can be sure that will be your reward in the next. Choose wisely. Time is short."

While Lil Nas X recently apologized for his actions, he did not remove the blasphemous videos.
