The Chaplet of Saint Michael: A Powerful Prayer for Spiritual Warfare Every Catholic Should Know
Have you ever prayed the Chaplet of Saint Michael the Archangel? It is a powerful prayer against evil.
Pope Pius IX approved the prayer in 1851 after Saint Michael the Archangel appeared to Portuguese Carmelite nun Antonia d'Astonac.
The prayer invokes Saint Michael and the nine choirs of angels.
Saint Michael promised to grant an “escort of nine angels chosen from each of the nine Choirs when receiving Holy Communion” to the person who prays this chaplet.
He also promised that the person who recites the chaplet daily receives “continual assistance and that of all the holy angels during life, and after death, deliverance from purgatory for themselves and their relations.”
