The Babylon Bee Hilariously Nails the Catholic Faith in Satirical Guide to Christian Denominations

This is so great! 😂

The satirical news website The Babylon Bee recently published a hilarious video “explaining” various Christian religions, including Catholicism.

In the video entitled, “The Babylon Bee Guide to Every Christian Denomination,” begins with Catholicism.

“Have an affinity for Latin guilt and booze? Go Catholic!

“The Catholics started off with an epic 1500-year run, keeping the denomination-game on lockdown before Luther came along in the fourth quarter and messed everything up.

“Generally seen by Protestants as just one wrong above Mormons on the ‘are they really Christian?’ scale, Catholics are known for lots of rules and for praying to Mary and saints for some reason. Weird.”

The video then describes Anglicans as “Kirkland-brand Catholics,” Episcopalians as “Kirkland-brand Anglicans,” and Eastern Orthodox as “basically like Catholics, but with cooler beards.”

The narrator also says Lutherans contain “all the boring parts of Catholicism married to all the boring parts of Protestantism,” “beginning in 1963 shortly following Martin Luther’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech in front of the Lincoln Memorial.'”

The Babylon Bee then covers Methodists, Baptists, Non-Denominational, Pentecostals, Calvary Chapel, Church of Christ, and Mormons (sort of).
