Sam Smith, Kim Petras Glorify Satan in Evil Grammy Performance, Sparking Outrage
Lord have mercy on our country!
Singers Sam Smith and Kim Petras collaborated in a performance of the song “Unholy” at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards on Sun., Feb. 5. The singers won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo during the CBS airing.
However, the performance sparked outrage over its blatant Satanic imagery and worship.
Smith, Petras, and their backup dancers portray themselves as devils and demons, surrounding themselves with cages, whips, and fire. The dancing, costumes, and lyrics are also sexually provocative and explicit.

The clip’s caption reads, “Sam Smith offers up a Satanic Grammy performance and it’s in the open for all to see.”
Petras explained the inspiration behind the performance.
“I think a lot of people, honestly, have labeled what I stand for and what Sam stands for as religiously not cool,” the singer says. “It’s a take on not being able to choose religion and not being able to live the way that people might want you to live…it’s kind of Hell-Keeper-Kim,” the singer says.
Petras, a biological male, adds that the performance was “inspired by Madonna,” who released a Satanic photo spread in a January Vanity Fair issue.

Before the initial Sunday night airing, Smith announced his “special performance” on Twitter. CBS then responded, “we are ready to worship!”

Many expressed outrage over the demonic performance. “Pure Evil” trended on Twitter on Mon., Feb. 6.
Here’s what some users said:
In a response to the CBS “we are ready to worship” comment, this user said, “Done with you all. The in-your-face worship of Satan goes far beyond what most Americans think is acceptable. Go on into the fiery pit. I’m not going with you. Jesus is the way, the truth and life!”
Live Action’s Lila Rose said, “It is insane to me that we allow children to watch Satanic performances in the name of ‘entertainment.’ Underneath the glittery, demonic display is the tortured self-loathing of deeply wounded people. Cancel the Grammys.
“Award shows should be a celebration of beauty, of the good, of the best,” Rose continued. “We desperately need a renewal of Art. A restoration of creating and celebrating the good, the true, the beautiful.”
Another user wrote, “This is the sort of thing that we are dealing with, and this is the sort of thing that needs to end. This country has fallen down a dark hole and it’s trash like this that gave it the push.”
Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro also published a thread denouncing the performance.
“The Grammys annual trolling of traditionally moral people continued apace this year with a full-on Satanic performance from two white men, Sam Smith and Kim Petras,” Shapiro said. “But there’s something deeper happening here, too. The elite in our society are fully in line with the ideology of Satanic fealty expressed by Smith and Petras.”

Let us pray the Fatima Angel’s Prayer in reparation for this outrage against God:
“O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg the conversion of poor sinners. Amen.”
