You don’t see this very often!
Chance the Rapper had 7 nominations and won 3 awards at the recent 59th Annual Grammy Awards. And two incredible things stood out about him at the awards show:
First, he praised God in his acceptance speeches. “Glory be to God!” he loudly proclaimed after winning Best New Artist. “I claim this victory in the name of the Lord!”
Second, his performance at the show was about praising God and even included a gospel choir! (You can see a video of the performance below.)
“Chance the Rapper currently taking the Grammy’s to church is everything… #HowGreatIsOurGod #GrammyAwards,” one person wrote on Twitter about the performance.
