Anglican priest Rev. Vaughan Roberts of St. Ebbe’s Church in Oxford, England accidentally appeared in his livestream service as one of the Blues Brothers.
The cleric said he believes his wife accidentally applied the filter while setting up the livestream.
“The person who set up the phone that films me, who happens to be my wife, somehow turned on a filter and filters are something she does not know how to turn off,” he said in an interview with Yahoo.
“When I came forward to speak, she realized a hat and glasses were on my face.
“After I was off-screen after doing the welcome, she sidled around to me looking horrified and whispered in my ear. She said ‘I don’t know what I’ve done, but there’s a hat and glasses on your face and I don’t know how to turn it off’.
“So I had to take evasive action. I decided not to come forward again and do the rest of the service from the bench.
“I had no idea it was a Blues Brothers filter at the time, but I knew when I got the message from my wife something had gone wrong.”
