Pope Francis Tweets Support for Pro-Life Cause on Day of the March for Life!
Thank you Holy Father!
January 19th, 2018 was the day of the annual March for Life, a massive pro-life event in Washington D.C. that attracts hundreds of thousands of young people every year.
So it carried extra meaning when Pope Francis decided to tweet a pro-life message on that day!
“Every life counts: from the beginning to the end, from conception to natural death,” his tweet reads.
This is not the first time Pope Francis has showed his support for the March for Life. In previous years he has also tweeted his support as well as sent messages of support through his papal nuncio to the United States.
Pope Francis has forcefully reaffirmed the Church’s teaching regarding the evils of abortion on numerous occasions, including his two most recent major documents, Amoris Laetitia and Laudato Si.
