Jim Caviezel Makes Singing "Debut" in "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" - Watch the Video!
Did you know that Jim Caviezel can sing?!
Actor Jim Caviezel made his singing "debut" on Dec. 3, 2023, at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas during EWTN Raymond Arroyo's "Christmas Merry & Bright" tour.
Caviezel is most known for his role as Jesus in "The Passion of the Christ," but made headlines in 2023 for his role as Tim Ballard in the blockbuster film, "Sound of Freedom."
During the "Christmas Merry & Bright" concert, Caviezel made a surprise appearance dressed as Santa Claus.
The audience still clueless of Caviezel's identity, Arroyo said, “You have sung Christmas songs about Jesus, but has he ever sung one for you? Here’s the next best thing.”
Once the actor removed the Santa suit, Arroyo announced Caviezel's identity and the audience cheered in astonishment and joy.
Arroyo then told his audience that Caviezel would make his "singing debut" in this never-before-seen Christmas duet. They both sat on stools singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" as the big band jazz orchestra led the music.

Caviezel was busy this year promoting his film, "Sound of Freedom," which was released in July. The film grossed over $249 million at the box office.
ChurchPOP featured Caviezel in an original interview where he discussed the film and his career, defending human life, and the trials he endured while making the blockbuster.
"Our love for God's children has got to be greater than our fear of evil, just as our love for Jesus got to be greater than our fear of the cross," he told ChurchPOP editor Jacqueline Burkepile in early 2023.
Caviezel stressed that he dedicated his life to loving God and will "give him whatever I've got."
He also said God came to him in a movie theater and told him to become an actor.
"God loves us I understand, but we need to start loving God back. He needs to be loved. Jesus deserves to be loved.
"I want to love Him and I'll give him whatever I've got. It's not my career. It's God's career," Caviezel told ChurchPOP.
"I was a simple guy when God came to me in a movie theater, and I said, 'Well I can't do this...'"
"But I said, 'Well Lord, I asked you what my purpose is. You said, 'Hey I'd like you to be an actor. Well, I'm going to take you at your word. So I'm going to go and try.'"
"Do you think people didn't call me out and say I was nuts? They're probably watching this interview right now and saying I'm nuts!"
Caviezel made one special appearance during Arroyo's Dallas show. Other special guests for the concert included Frankie Avalon and José Feliciano.
Arroyo's "Christmas Merry & Bright" tour concludes on Dec. 21 in Nashville, Tenn.
