This is so cool! 🤩
Fr. Mike Schmitz’ new podcast, The Bible in a Year, hit the #1 spot on iTunes. The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for the Diocese of Duluth’s podcast topples mainstream podcasts, such as NPR, NBC, New York Times, iHeart Radio, and more.
Fr. Mike announced the new podcast in November, and began posting the episodes in December. The Bible study officially began on Jan. 1.
Ascension announced on Facebook that “over a quarter of a million Catholics are on board” for the podcast.
The Ascension-produced podcast “walks you through the entire Bible in 365 episodes, providing commentary, reflection, and prayer along the way,” the description states.
It “follows a reading plan inspired by The Great Adventure Bible Timeline, a ground-breaking approach to understanding salvation history developed by renowned Catholic Bible teacher Jeff Cavins.”
