Ascension Presents dropped a new video entitled, "The Bible in 10 Minutes," featuring Father Mike Schmitz.
The video is a 10-minute animated feature. It went viral over the last week, hitting 1.1 million views since its July 9 release.
"The Bible is amazing," Father Mike says in his opener. “But sometimes confusing and hard to read because it's not just one book, but a collection of books. We’d like to read it, but without a map, it’s easy to get lost."
"There is a narrative throughout the Bible that tells a single story– the story of God’s plan for our salvation," he continues. "Once we understand that story, we can understand the context of every book of the Bible. So, here’s the story in less than 10 minutes.”
Father Mike then describes various books of the Bible in collaboration with Coronation Media's animation.
As of this writing, "The Bible in 10 Minutes" generated 1.1 million views in seven days. Ascension said the video is their "most viral video ever," generating 358,000 views within 24 hours.

Father Mike Schmitz’s “Bible in a Year” and “Catechism in a Year” podcasts began airing nationwide on Jan. 15 via EWTN Radio.
Nationally, the podcasts air back-to-back in a one-hour time slot beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
Local radio affiliates who add the show to their lineup have the freedom to shift the program to a time that’s best for their audience.
