Sarah Snook won the award for Best Actress at this year's Emmy Awards, an achievement that shows that pregnancy does not impede success. Her words of gratitude to her little daughter touch the heart!

This January 15, the city of Los Angeles, Calif. dressed up for the 75th annual Emmy Awards.

At this great event, Australian actress Sarah Snook won the award for Best Actress in a Drama for her role as Siobhan “Shiv” Roy in the series “Succession.”

The actress received the award amid tears of emotion and thanked a very special person in her life, who accompanied her during the filming of the fourth season of the series: her unborn daughter.

This is what she said:

"The biggest thank you though is to someone who won’t understand anything I’m saying at the moment, but I carried her with me in this last season. 

"Really it was her who carried me.

"It’s very easy to act when you’re pregnant because you’ve got hormones raging. 

"The proximity of her life growing inside me gave me the strength to do this and this performance. 

"I love you so much. It’s all for you from here on out.”

Pregnancy does not impede success

The “March for Life” X account shared this great testimony and stressed that women “do not need abortion to succeed.”

“Female equality and empowerment are not based on the dehumanization of the most vulnerable and treating the unborn as objects.”

“Empowerment involves supporting women and reassuring them that they are more than capable of choosing life, and in doing so, that baby will not ‘disrupt’ her lives, but will add to them.”

“Pregnancy is a superpower exclusive to women that must be protected and embraced. It should not be considered a burden or an obstacle to success. Let's stop pitting mothers against their children. Instead, let us begin to see the relationship between mothers and their children as one of the greatest motivations for women to achieve any goal.”

"Life is beautiful; Let's start seeing it as such."

The 51st annual March for Life will take place on Jan. 19, 2024, in Washington D.C., under the motto, "With every woman, for every child."

Every January, thousands of people fighting for life gather in the streets to raise their voices on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court case that legalized abortion nationwide in 1973.
