Donald Trump to Make March for Life History as First President to Speak in-Person at Rally: "We Are Deeply Honored"

The March for Life announced yesterday that President Donald Trump will speak at the 47th annual March for Life rally on Fri. Jan. 24. President Trump will be the first president in United States history to attend and speak at the event in-person.
March for Life President Jeanne Mancini wrote the following statement:
“We are deeply honored to welcome President Trump to the 47th annual March for Life. He will be the first president in history to attend and we are so excited for him to experience in-person how passionate our marchers are about life and protecting the unborn.
“From the appointment of pro-life judges and federal workers, to cutting taxpayer funding for abortions here and abroad, to calling for an end to late-term abortions, President Trump and his Administration have been consistent champions for life and their support for the March for Life has been unwavering.
“We are grateful for all these pro-life accomplishments and look forward to gaining more victories for life in the future.”
The March for Life also tweeted the announcement, thanking the president for supporting the pro-life cause.
President Trump also commented on the event on his Twitter account:

Retweeting a 2019 March for Life rally video, the president wrote, “See you on Friday…Big Crowd!”
In 2017, Vice President Mike Pence became the March for Life’s highest-ranking government official to ever speak at the rally in-person. President George W. Bush and President Ronald Reagan also spoke to the crowd via telephone during their terms.
Former Planned Parenthood clinic director-turned pro-life advocate Abby Johnson also commented on and tweeted the news regarding President Trump’s attendance.
