This is so amazing!
A parishioner at Church of Our Lady of Fatima in Chihuahua, Mexico captured a photo during Easter Vigil and submitted it to ChurchPOP’s Spanish edition.
The image depicts the moment of the Paschal Candle blessing. The priest reads alongside acolytes and parishioners while holding the large candle.
As the parishioner took the photo, an alleged silhouette of Jesus appears between priest and the faithful helping hold the candle.
Here’s the photo below:
Here’s a closer look:
The Easter Vigil is the most important of Christian celebrations because it celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Vigil, which means spending “a night awake,” takes on a special meaning on Easter Eve because it recalls the biblical passage (Mk 16:01) in which a group of women arrive at the tomb to finish embalming Jesus, but they can’t find his body.
Then an angel appears saying, “He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” (Mt 28:6).
The Paschal Candle symbolizes the risen Jesus bringing light in the darkness.
Is Jesus providing hope in the midst of pain and anguish through this alleged manifestation?
What do you think? Do you see Jesus?
