This Couple with the World's Longest Marriage Tied the Knot +90 Yrs Ago
Don’t believe in love anymore? This story just might give you hope again.
Karam and Kartari Chand got married on December 11th, 1925 – and they are still both alive and married. At more than 90 years long, their marriage is not only the longest known marriage still going today, but possibly the longest marriage in history.
They were just teenagers when they got married in India, and they moved to England in 1965. Today, they have 8 children, 27 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. They’re apparently local celebrities in their town and have even met the Queen.
What’s their secret? They say they never argue.
