Bishop Robert Barron hosted another “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) question and answer thread on the atheist message board Reddit.
The Word on Fire founder and Los Angeles Auxiliary Bishop hosted the third annual online event on April 21, generating more than nine thousand comments. Bishop Barron became the first bishop to host such an event in 2018.
While Reddit is not completely atheist, atheism dominates the platform. Bishop Barron invited “atheists, skeptics, and seekers” to “ask him anything”.
The bishop answered some controversial questions, including those regarding the sex abuse scandals. He also answered general theology questions and questions about the coronavirus lockdowns. Other responses to additional questions were quite humorous!
