An American Frassati? Meet the Young Man People Are Already Calling a Saint
This is so inspiring.
Joe Reali might have seemed like a normal young man from the outside: he had friends, went to school, and loved playing football. Which is why it was such a tragedy when he died suddenly from a genetic heart condition just before his 26th birthday. But when all the stories of how he had impacted people started flooding in, something else because clear: the young man was a saint.
Reali was absolutely devoted to his Catholic faith. He encouraged his friends to go to Mass and confession, cared for those around him, and even helped families be reunited. Many people have been comparing to Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati, a young Italian Catholic man who died at age 24 and who has touched the lives of people around the world.
The Knights of Columbus have produced an incredibly inspiring and beautiful video telling his story, which can you view below.
