Actor Chris Pratt Calls on Jesus to Protect Lives 'Battling Flames' in California Wildfires

Actor Chris Pratt asked his followers to pray for those battling the wildfires in Southern California.

The Los Angeles, California, area has been hit with deadly wildfires, causing horrific destruction.

Pratt, who is known for his roles in "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Thor," and "Garfield," often publicly express his Christian faith.

In an X (Formerly Twitter) post, the actor called on his eight million followers to pray for California, asking Jesus to "protect the lives of those battling the flames and the lives of those who couldn’t evacuate."

Pratt's X post generated almost two million views as of this writing.
