The Argentinian media outlet El Litoral published an amazing photo of what appears to be Our Lady near the moon. The Facebook page Noticias Itateñas then re-shared the image in a viral post.
The Catholic outlet shares “good news” about Our Lady of Itatí, an Argentinian devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Corrientes Province of the country celebrates the feast on July 9.

The July 10 Facebook post explains that a couple took the photo near the Paraná river when the “majesty of the moon amazed them,” just two days before the country celebrates the feast.
They said the image “surprised them” when “a blue silhouette left the image.”

“A current couple walked through the port of Bella Vista and were amazed by the majesty of the moon reflected on the Paraná River. They decided to immortalize the moment and took a photo.
“They were moved by the surprise they got when they saw the photo: a blue silhouette was leaving the image. They didn’t hesitate.

“‘It’s the silhouette of the Virgin of Itatí. It’s very clear,’ Guillermo Alcorta told El Litoral.
“‘The photo was taken by my girlfriend, Magali Ibánez, on Thurs., [July 7]. The intention was to take a picture of the moon, but we saw a particular image that came sideways, mostly we see the silhouette of the Virgin of Itatí,’ he insisted.'”
As of this writing, the post received 19,000 reactions, over 5,000 comments, and 11,000 shares.
