Praise God for the gift of the priesthood!

Seminarian Michał Łos’s dream came true on Friday, May 24, when Auxiliary Bishop Marek Solarczyk of the Warsaw-Praga diocese visited him in the hospital before the seminarian’s death on June 17, 2019.

The 31-year-old graduate of the Major Seminary of Saint Luigi Orione desperately wanted to receive the sacrament of Holy Orders and celebrate at least one Mass before losing his battle to cancer.

Thanks to Pope Francis’ prior approval, the Auxiliary bishop ordained the now-Fr. Michał in his hospital bed, first to the diaconate and to then to the priesthood.

Fr. Michał later thanked the public for their prayers and gave a blessing.
