This is so cool!

While Josh Groban is not Catholic, his music often features Christian or Catholic themes. It is speculated that he was raised Episcopalian, but it is unclear what religion he currently practices.

The Significance and History Behind the Papal Window

The Bishop’s Palace is the second-largest palace in Krakow. It has been the traditional residence for the Krakow bishops since the 14th century. The palace was Cardinal Karol Wojtyla’s residence from 1963-1978, before becoming pope.

St. John Paul II also stayed in the palace while visiting as Pope, and presented his talks and blessings above this window at night. This is why it is now called the Papal Window.
