Hurricane Harvey has been devastating to the gulf coast, especially the city of Houston. While others are helping out with housing and food, one organization is raising money for what it sees as another emergency need: abortion.

Yes, even as the hurricane has brought death and destruction, some people actually want more death (note that the abortion fundraising organization was supported by the pro-abortion Women’s March organization). Which should perhaps make the next fact not as surprising: the abortion fund is literally named after an ancient baby-killing demon.

You can’t make this stuff up.

The Lilith Fund, as the abortion fundraising organization is called, takes its name from an ancient demon from middle eastern mythology, described as “a dangerous demon of the night, who is sexually wanton, and who steals babies in the darkness.

The story of Lilith has evolved over time, but in one telling Lilith was created out of the ground at the same time as Adam, but ran away after refusing to be submissive to Adam and was replaced by Eve. Since then, she has roamed the earth, causing infants to become sick.

This isn’t the first time abortion supporters have explicitly identified their cause with the demonic. In 2013, abortion supporters chanted “hail satan” in an attempt to drown out pro-lifers singing Amazing Grace. In 2016, a group of Satanists staged a bizarre, blasphemous counter protest to a group of pro-lifers. Also in 2016, an abortion doctor came outside his clinic to harass a pro-life sidewalk counselor by pretending to be a demon, saying, “I love killing babies.”

Pray for the conversion of those who support abortion!
