A customer gave an amazing Christmas gift to a waitress in Phoenix, AZ recently, leaving the expectant working mom a $900 tip – and pointed to God in the process.
“This is God’s money,” reads a message left by the customer on the receipt, “he gave it to us so we could give it to you. God bless.”
“You always hear about these happening,” the waitress, Sarah Clark, later said, “but you never expect to be the recipient of it. It’s a huge, huge help for me and my family.”
Clark is in her final month of pregnancy, due January 8th. She has been planning to work up until giving birth to make extra money since she won’t be able to work immediately afterwards. Her fiancé is temporarily out of work due to a knee surgery.
Clark says she has seen the woman who gave the tip in the restaurant many times before and that they had something in common: they are both pregnant.
