The recent wildfires in the southeastern United States have been devastating, with lives lost, countless homes destroyed, and thousands of acres burned.
But in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, amid the rubble, people found what some are calling a “miracle amid the destruction”: a statue of Jesus Christ, covered in ashes and soot, that was the only thing left standing in a home that was burned to the ground.
