A new viral video purports to show a statue of Jesus open its eyes, look at the camera, then close its eyes. The possibly miraculous statue of Jesus is part of a crucifix in the Cathedral of Saltillo in Mexico.

Is it some sort of optical illusion? Has the video been faked in some way that we haven’t detected? Or is it really a miracle?
It’s hard to tell. At least one set of “paranormal experts” say they’ve closely examined the video and didn’t find any evidence it was doctored; take that as you will.
According to one article, the local diocese has refused to watch the video or comment on it so far.
