Should the Catholic Church have female deacons?

That’s what Dr. Dawn Eden was asked to debate on FOX News recently – and she gave a great response!

You should watch her explain it in the video is below, but she gives two main arguments: First, there were no true female deacons in the early Church (“deaconesses” were not female equivalents of male deacons); and second, lay women are already making valuable contributions to the Church.
